Airports, iPads and Omelets

Recently, I switched from being a 20-year United flyer to Delta. There are plenty of reasons for this, but the biggest one was that I felt United just stopped trying. But that is another post for another day.

With this new airline comes new layover airports and with new airports come new places to eat. Today, on a trip to Salt Lake for the Sundance Film Festival, I dined at Volant near gate G13. This hip and fun place offered a wide range of breakfast dishes all ordered from an iPad at your table.

I ordered the omelet and a cup of coffee that came in just under $20 including tip. It was stuffed with sausage, peppers, onions and blue cheese. A large side of hash browns also came with it. For an airport breakfast it was fresh, quick and pretty tasty (and it almost looked like the picture on the iPad menu).
